CIM Helpdesk Associate Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Provide first level support (request, queries and troubleshoot) on supported applications in 24 x 7 basis (12 hours rotating shift).
  • Gather all necessary information from the end user for escalation and crisis communication
  • Provide crisis communication to engineer and manager.
  • Escalate problems to appropriate second level support personnel or third party vendors in a timely manner.

POSITION SPECIFICATION

Education and Qualification:

  • Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information technology or equivalent fields.
Experience:

  • Semi-conductor (Wafer Fab) CIM support with average 2 years of related working experience.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
Other Essential Attributes:
  • Basic computer knowledge – hardware setup, O.S. and application installation
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, VB, Visual C++.
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Good communication skill – able to describe and communicate the issue or resolutions
