The NTUC is the trade federation of trade unions in Singapore

Set up in 1961, NTUC keeps faith with the basic aim of trade unionism, that is to safeguard and enhance the interests of workers. As of now, there are 60 trade unions and 6 associations affiliated to NTUC. They collectively represent more than 500,000 NTUC members. The NTUC family also includes 12 social enterprises, Singapore Labour Foundation, Ong Teng Cheong Labour Leadership Institute, Employment & Employabiliy Institute (e2i) and Consumers’ Association of Singapore (CASE).
